Every home improvement adventure begins with a trip to Lowe’s. Our story is no different. Mom was nice enough to drive us to buy some of our basic starter supplies.
Luckily enough we hit some great 4th of July deals including a $5 light fixture for the bathroom (it was a display item) and rebates on all paint purchases.

Rupert applied for a Lowe’s credit card for us since his credit history is a bit more stable than mine. I would highly advise getting this credit card to anyone planning on doing a large project like this. They have great incentives like 5% off every purchase and also a 6 months no interest option for purchases over a certain amount.
